Midnight drawing

I'm completely awful at updating my blog, I know! There has just been so much going on lately!!

Since my last post I've been starting working experience, gone to DreamHack and had a bunch of other things to take care of. Sometimes there simply isn't enough time to do everything we want to do! I might give more details on DreamHack later on, but for now I wanted to share my latest artowork with you guys!

It's a WIP and I won't spend too much time on it. It's more of a practice experience and it reminded me of how fun it is to draw portraits.

For all SC fans, can you tell who it is? :)

It's fun how inspiration always tend to come to me when I'd probably be better off going to bed. Though sometimes it's just such a wonderful thing to sit up late at night drawing. <3

Art fair

Hello people!

Yesterday I exhibited some of my work at "1000 meter konst" in Huddinge. It's an art fair where over 100 artists showed up their wonderful artworks. I had the greatest time with friends and meeting new people. I was so surprised by all the positive response my pictures got! Haha! I came there believing that I'd only be there to show off my pictures, and to my great surprise I sold all of the pictures I had brought. Thank you so much!! It was such a proud moment for me, and I still can't really believe it!

Hello guys!

Last week I attended as much as I could to a Sketch Fest that Bella told me about! I had a great time and I only wish I had had more time to take part in it. I even managed to sell a sketch, which I mailed to the buyer today.

In Her Residence

Aaaaand it's done! I finished it up today, and this is the final result. I think I could've done things better, like always, and there are always small bits and bobs that could have been different. You can see a little piece of the progress in my previous post!

Tomorrow it seems like I'm taking part of a sketch fest with Bella! I've never done anything like it so hopefully it will be loads of fun! That was all for now.

Bellanoir Preview

Hello!

Just throwing in a short post to show my progress in my art trade with Bella! I finished the line art of her OC, Bellanoir. We're old WoW buddies and I'm so happy to give her OC a try!

I have yet to do the line art for her throne and a background etc. Btw, I always get creeped out by how manga eyes look before being coloured!!

So much summer!

Hello again after a really long break!

I've simply been so busy with other things to remember to actually post something on here (bad excuse for being lazy I suppose). However, I've been doing plenty of things! I went to Northern Ireland for eleven days, got a new family member (the cat Lucifer), had my wonderful cousin over for a week and in two days I'm going down to Laholm and Malmö. Also, in betweeen all that I've been doing alot of artsy things!

This morning I used my markers again after a long time learning my tablet, so this was the resault of a quick session of drawing and inking.

It's my cat drawn as a little cat-boy.

And this is a picture of him and me IRL. He's my little baby.

Now I'm off to continue with some more art projects. I'm working on my own OC-couple, and also an art trade with my dear friend Bella! She recently started a livestream page where you can watch her doing her amazing work live!! How cool is that?! You can see it here!

In Ireland ~

Wut wut!

Me and Lucas went to Ireland last sunday, and we've been here ever since. We're going back next thursday, but we still have alot of things to do before we leave. Tomorrow we'll try to get to the Belfast zoo, and during the weekend we'll attend to Q-con, also in Belfast. It's been lovely here this far, and here are some pictures from our time here this far;

Urgh...

So it seems like there won't be any NärCon for me this year. The tickets got sold out something about an hour after I decided "I'll buy them this evening". Urgh... However, I found another dream dress. Although there's no way in hell I'll be able to afford it. Lol. Oh well... Dream on ~

Hrmm.. Got extremely disappointed over the sold out tickets, so bare with the tension. I need to keep my chin up and look forward to alot of other things that'll happen in the near future. I'm leaving for Ireland with Lucas in a week, and I'm soon getting my own tiny kitten to take care off. After that my lovey dovey cousin is visiting for an entire week! Ah, alright.. so the tickets might not be a huge deal, but I'd been looking forward to wearing my costume this year, since I failed last year.

Oh well... Too much gibberish at these late hours. I still have another one and a half day to attend to school before the summer break. Then I'll have more then enough time to QQ over stupid tickets getting sold out.

Cosplay WIPs!

So I finally got around to asking my dad to take pictures of my costume, in it's current state. I still have quite a few things to add and retouch before it's done, and I haven't even shown you the shoulders yet.

I was actually supposed to wear it at last year's NärCon, but I simply didn't have time to finish it, so I'm planning on finishing it for this year's. I'm not attending to the cosplay competition, simply cause the passports for the competition were already sold out, but it's SUCH a relief not having that pressure that I have, have, have to finish! This way I'll be able to work as much as I please.

The skirt. My costume is more or less built up by layers and layers. No need to look fancy when most of it'll be covered.

Most of the costume, still need to attach chains, orbs and attach the front part properly. It's actyally detachable since it's impossible to put on the costume with it's glued/sewn on to it.

Recovering from an art block...

I think I've started to recover from my recent art block. I haven't felt that creative for a while, but it has given me time to slowly put small pieces of ideas together. I'm pretty excited to get on with new creations, aswell as continuing on others. Right now I'm in the middle of scetching on a painting I'd like to do in A3 size. It's a mixture of two different poses of Lucy from the ohmygodsoawesome anime Elfen Lied.

I watched this anime when I was in 6th or 7th grade, and 4-5 years later I still haven't seen anything as beautiful. There are loads of fun and interesting series out there, but Elfen Lied really got to me. <3

Slow update!

I'm waaay to slow at updating things around here, so I thought it was finally time to post something new, since I haven't really done anything special lately. Or perhaps I just forgot whatever it was I was doing. However, I recieved a couple of pictures from the breeder of the cat I'm going to get this summer, and AMAGAD! I thought I was going to melt. It was really "So fluffy I'm gonna die!".

None of these pictures belong to me, but to the breeder. I have not recieved allowence to share them, so let's keep it a secret for now :3

Lazy day

Hellow!

Today I've been in bed most of the day, just watching Scrubs and trying to get rid of my cold, or whatever it is. Had a high fever yesterday, but I was lucky enough to have my cute Lucas take care of me (or rather, we took care of each other considering that we both we're really sick).

I somehow managed to take this funny picture or our cat today. It's both over exposured and blurry, but it makes me giggle!

Tiding ~

I've been tiding the ENTIRE day, and I actually did it for real this time. I sorted old things out (clothing, jewlery and other stuff), and it looks alot better now! Although, everything has it's price, and now I'm exhausted. It'll be worth it either way though since I'm having special guests tomorrow!

Yay for a clean room! Urghhh for forgetting to eat while tiding for hours and hours.

Itty bitty kitty (loaf) alert!

I can't really describe how excited I've been these passed few days. I've been nagging my dad about getting me a kitten. The race I want is unfortionatly really expensive, and I thought it'd be a straight no-no from my dad. Either way, I would not give up on these kittes. I decided that if I could not get one now, I'd buy one myself when I'm older and have a much better economy. However, it turned out that my dad has an old friend who's a breeder of these cats. Although both of her kittens she has right now just got sold, there is a new litter coming in two weeks! So to really summarize this up, I might be getting a kitten in July!! I'm so exciteeeed! :D

I'm going over to Lucas' place this evening. It will be a cozy way to end the weekend. Yargh! Until next time ~ [Ohhh!! And I've been thinking of several names for the tiny cat. Many of the taken from World of Warcraft for some weird reason :3]

Brand new blog

I just finished the (hopefully) final changes to my blog layout and design. I think I'm quite content with how it turned out. A certain beautiful woman convinced me to start posting pictures of my art, so I thought I might aswell post my latest project - A drawing for my friend, starring his paladin Garthios. :3

It's just a rather messed up line art at the moment, but I started colouring it with markers. It will somehow be quite hard to finish it off until I've gotten the markers I need.
